Faith Heritage Christian Academy requires off-campus students to participate in annual achievement testing. Achievement testing is required as part of our accreditation status as a school. We understand that testing can be a source of many questions for parents and students, so we have some answers to frequently asked questions for you to review. If you have a special need that you would like to speak with our staff about, please call or email our FHCA Off-Campus office.
Each Spring, Faith Heritage devotes about two full weeks to testing our students in grades 2-10.
Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12-13, Collierville First Baptist Church, 830 New Byhalia Rd., Collierville.
Thursday and Friday, March 14-15, Faith Heritage Christian Academy, 4274 Duncan Rd., Millington.
Thursday and Friday March 21-22 Briarwood Community Church, 1900 N. Germantown Pkwy., Cordova.
Time: All times are the same, 8 a.m. -12 noon each day. Proctors need to arrive at 7:30 a.m.
Proctors: We need about 20 people at each testing location to help us administer the test. Please sign up ASAP. Proctors are given first choice as to testing location. Email back your name and phone number and grade level of your children taking the test. Proctors need to arrive at 7:30 a.m.
Special Needs - Students with special needs will be given placement preference, but places are limited. Parents of these students need to plan to help in some way at testing. Your presence in the building will help your students feel more secure. Some of these students may better be served by testing in the summer (June). Special needs accommodations -very brief description, i.e, needs one-on-one, may test with a very quiet small group, needs extra time, needs to write in booklet and proctor to transfer (extra cost), needs to have parts of the test read to him. Documentation of disabilities must be on file with us!
Grade One – Testing for Grade 1 is optional and not included in your enrollment fee. Test cost for grade one is $30. Please send a check ASAP made out to FHCA, P.O. Box 280758, Memphis TN 38168. We need to have your reservation immediately.
